how much ram?
how much RAM will windows XP support? will pro support more than home?

Current chipsets support 3 GB of ram.

My board will take 4 for starters many will take 8. Server boards can take upward of 64, whatta ya want.
Ok I looked, too many to list, just look at every single 939 board on newegg.

well its a ASUS board I saw that supported 8gigs of RAM....but I didn't think windows supported anywhere near that. I suppose Vista will.

interesting. Anyone know the max ram specs on vista? probably 12gigs since I assume it will be 64bit.
