Need screenshot apps
I need an app that can take a screenshot while Linux is installing. Any ideas?

i think Linux reboots after it's installed so i think you would need a digital camera for that..... i've only seen screenshots taken by pushing print screen then pasting in paint but since the puter restarts, the pic would be gone.
keep in mind i have only installed Mandrake 8.0 and Redhat 7.2 before so i'm not sure if other distros don't have to reboot to work...

I have a buddy that does this by running the video out through a capture card on another PC. He can capture anything this way....

Email the writers of the Mandrake user manual and ask them how they took their screen shots of the installation process.
