Doesn't surprise me.
I wouldn't want Vista anyway right now. It's features are completely useless. All Windows Vista does is enhance the stupid features that any advanced computer user wouldn't use anyway.
Let's see...
Glass see through effects (Aero) - yawn, I really don't care what it looks like and I could care less about personalizing Windows.
Faster searches - I already know where my files are anyway, and so I have to wait like an extra 15 seconds?
New explorer - Same crap. Faster searches *fap fap fap* /sarcasm
Live Taskbar thumbnails - Who cares? I don't want that crap running if I can't see it anyway
Flip 3d - Way to waste even more RAM!
Better security - True, but if you have half a brain around a computer and use the right programs you can keep 99.99% of hackers and spyware out.
Assured security - Yeah right. I'll believe that when I see it. Guarentee they'll be 500,000 vulnerbilities M$ will be scrambling to fix.
The moral of this all is: Who cares? I doubt I'd even buy Vista. You need like 3-4 gigs to run the actual OS and a game, and the PF usage is just rediculous. All for a bunch of gay features that do little to enhance the current OS.

Hmm...don't care. XP does me fine for now.
I'll probably only get Vista when it becomes a viable option for gaming. Ironically, I same the same about Linux. |

SEOUL, May 25 (Reuters) - The release of Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT,Trade) Windows Vista is still on track for shipment in January, its chief executive said on Thursday, as speculation about delays in the much-expected new operating system persist.
"I said yesterday Vista was on track to ship in the first part of next year January," Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer said, referring to news reports Wednesday quoting him as saying that shipments could be delayed by a few weeks.
"It's on track, but we're going to see what kind of feedback we get from users ... and we're going to work to make sure it's absolutely a high-quality product. That's number one," Ballmer told a news conference at the Seoul Digital Forum http://clearstation.etrade.com/cgi-b...on.etrade.com/ |

I am kind of curious about Vista. With all of the hype about it from Microsoft, I want to see if it is really what they say.
I have aquired a copy of Vista Beta 2 and I will install it on one of my computers as soon as I get it burned to a DVD.
I love XP (Compared to later verisons of Windows), and am not in a hurry to replace it, but, as I said earlier, I am curious about the Vista 'Special Features.'
We'll see...
