boot record not found
After a program freezing up and being forced to hit the restart button I got an boot record not found error. I shut down the power and booted up again and ever thing was fine. Most the time this wouldn't be a big deal but I have been getting this error about 33% the times I'm forced to hit the restart button and twice in the last 24 months I have had problems recovering from this error. Any ideas?
I miss the old 9x task manager as it almost seemed external, when you had to called it 99% of the time it was there. As for xp and it's more internal task manager when a program freezes the system it's there about 50% of the time. Which leaves you with the restart key when it doesn't.Don't buy Amd case stickers buy cyrix instead. If anyone brakes into your home your Amd will be gone, unless you have your very own cyrix stick-on

i'd check your background processes as they can cause lag to happen, which can cause freeze up without you relizing its happening..
what's general system specs...
