bypassing press "F1 to continue" on the energy star screen
I used to remember how to do this. You know when you set a new machine and your on the energy star screen. How do you get rid of that "Press F1 to continue"? I looked through the bios and could not find it. I'm using award bios. How do i get it to boot directly into win2k without having to press F!

what is it hanging on that is causing the F1 prompt?
Last I knew, it would only do that when it detected a problem and requested user intervention.Helicopters don't fly; they vibrate so much and make so much noise that the earth rejects them.

Not sure but you might need to look in the BIOS for something like
Halt on all errors
