I always use Deamon Tools, a free Software program.

Open the ISO File with Deamon Tools. It looks like a normal CD that you have opened.

Then use Nero to burn the Files to a CD. It is that simple.

One thing tho, you may need to look around for the actual Boot File. Most downloads of MS Programs do not come with this. You need to download the Boot ISO, and install it to the files you are burning, then burn the lot...

Hope that makes sense, I am getting tired...lol.

try re-downloading the ISO, first as it sounds like it's corrupted...next retry MDS' method. If it STILL won't work, then try download Alcohol 120...link is below (30-day trial version, mind you)...

If it doesn't even work, then speak with your School's IT Department and they will probably just provide you with a CD that they burned themselves. Good luck..

I used to get much better results when burning ISO files if I used DVD Decryptor instead of Nero to burn them. It is a little harder to find the program on the net nowadays, but you should still be able to get it. Or try a demo version of CDRWin from Goldenhawk Software. That is an excellent burning program, too.

Hey everybody,
While at school today I ask several people for help and didn't get much. The teacher I need to talk to is in sporadically because its summer break for most of them. Another teacher mentioned that lots of people have trouble but as far as she knows its just a matter of downloading the iso. file to the hard drive and burn it as it is. So until the original teacher checks his e-mail and reactivates my account so I can download again and tells me specifically if I'm doing it wrong or it was just a bad download we are on hold. I think the download has problems. I can't browse the download and see the files in it. For instance the i386 file. However, on a burned disk the woman teacher had the files could be looked at as you would suspect you could. Pretty sure its a bum download. We'll just have to wait and see. I'll be sure to post and let you all know how it turned out. Thanks to you all for the many suggestions.
