Using Task Manager

How can I use Task Manager to monitor my page file usage as far as setting my min and max page file settings? They are set at both 384 man and max now, but my page file rarely goes over 205. It hangs between 182 and 206 no matter what I run. Therefore, should I reduce the settings or leave them alone? Thanks..

You would need to go through the settings box by right clicking My computer>properties>advanced>(performance) settings then the advanced tab and its the last part of that tab, choose settings and change what you like. You can monitor with Task Manager but you have to set it this way

I just did some research on this. mine was at 1.5 times. and with 1gig of ram it took up alot of HDD space. I set my page file to "off". (not totally recomended) but I found that my performance actuall increased a little bit. and my games don't lag on startup like they used to.

even better if you have a second hard drive, put the page file on that hard drive, you may notice an increase in performance
