no remove button in add/remove programs

When i go to add/remove programs there is no remove button and some of my programs are missing from the list.

Seems like a registry problem to me but i cannot seem to fix it.

I am running xp pro sp2.

Anyone familiar with this problem?

I've seen this before... I just have to remember how I fixed it...

Oh yeah, I used the Microsoft TweakUI utility to verify all the entries in the Add/Remove programs list.

In short, find that program in registry, rearrange characters in ID and run msiexec /x.
