Browser not saving login information.

Something has changed the ability of not having to log back in to forums ect...
In other words I use to be able to go this forum and others after closing IE without having to log back in.

I'm running IE 6.0 with all updates that I choose to install. I use Pcillin ver. 15.00, Engine # 8.32.1003, XP Tools ver. 5.96, Ad-Aware SE ver 1.06.

I consider myself above average when it comes to trouble shooting, but once again this has me stumped. What am I missing here?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my hijack log :

I have that problem on a couple of websites, but never on this one which I've been a member for some time. The one site that puzzles me, is NETFLIX. Most of the time, I have to enter my user name and password even though I have the save info box checked. Every now and then, it puts me right through without entering my user name and password. A few other sites do the same, and then I have sites where I don't want my information saved, and they work accordingly.

I couldn't see anything in your hijack log, but there are others on this forum that might. Good luck, and welcome to TechIMO!
Robert

Some possibilities . . .

- TIMO just went through an upgrade, so you'd have to login again to set your new cookie.

- Is Ad-aware set to automatically scan and remove cookies?

- You may just have a hosed cookie, in which case, you should clear your history, cookies, and temporary internet files.

Do you have cookies blocked. I block cookies but I add certain sites to the "allowed" list.

The sites probably turn off auto complete in your browser, or it's another craptaculer IE issue.

When you use HijackThis, use this

Btw, IE should be updated.

Delete the following value. In HijackThis you check off the box next to the name and select remove entry.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A5366673-E8CA-11D3-9CD9-0090271D075B} - (no file)

Edit, OLD post dude!
