Weird Internet Explorer Issue.

If I goto google and search for lets say 'toothpaste' a whole bunch of links show up that I can click. However, when I click on any of the links I'm brought to a compeletely different page that is for advertising toothpaste. I click back and click on the same link and will be brought to a different toothpaste page. I've run spybot, and virus scan with no luck. I'm about to install windows defender to see if it catches anything. I have no odd programs installed in the add/remove programs, and I haven't installed anything for months. This is just a recent development. Oh, it doesn't happen with just toothpaste searches, it can be anything I search for. Anyone have an idea?

I personally think windows defender is a weak spyware program. I used it for a year and it never detected one spyware, lol. So i got suspicous and installed other spyware programs and tons were detected. Try spysweeper, its a very strong program. Also have you tried Firefox and see if the same problem occured?

Just finished getting rid of WinDefender. It found nothing. I'll try spysweeper before I put on firefox and opera.
