Hi all,
I've been doing some overclocking to push my system to the limit, but when I reach the limit windows craps out, and gets a corrupted system32/config/system file or some other error.
So,,,I put in the winxp disk and think, hey I'll press F2 at the prompt and try Automated system recovery . But it asks for the 3-1/2 inch ASR disk???
Are there any ways to recover important system files other than the backup utility (which I still need to wipe out the drive and reload winxp to run the backup file)
How do you make a Automated system recovery disk, or for that matter is it possible to reload winxp over itself as you could do in win98?
Thanks for any shared knowledge!!
Steve
