what exactly is the difference between slipjack and slipjack beta 2? the ones named are really all the things that slipjack already has...

I'd guess for one thing it has KDE 3.0 final.
Probably a slew of bug fixes too. |

Oh yeah & I started to install from CD 1 last night, initial impressions are good
Some things I noticed so far:
You can check the install media at the begiining, great little tool IMO
Detected my USB optical mouse
Disk partitioning tool is really nice
Lots of different pre-packaged options ie server, laptop etc
but...... why must you have both CD's to install - that really sucks IMO. I only have CD1 so far so had to abort I like Mandrakes option to specify how many CD's you have or just using one disc like Slack etc.
Regards

What are the general impressions of the people using it? I'm really interested in trying it but I think I'll wait until they release the final version.
Anyone willing to hazard a guess as to when they'll release that?
