Well, my copy of Vista Business just came in the mail.
I love MS.
(they sent me the copy for free)
I have not decided what I want to do with it yet though...
I think I am going to use my copy of Vista Home Premium on my new laptop(when I get the copy of it in). Maybe I should use my copy of Business for my server...but I spent so long just a few days ago trying to get my server running.
Anyone else running Vista yet(well, since it isn't out to most users yet I guess...one of the RC's or corp edition)? |

I’ve been running RC2 since it was released,
Still have this setup with dual boot,
I only use vista, but the girlfriend works for the city,
And she has to excess there server from home,
The program she uses for that is not compatible with vista,
So I have to have XP on here, but other then that, it’s only
Vista, I still don’t like that it runs slower then XP,
But that will change when company’s get there drivers
Working up to speed with vista, I’m going to a MS thing
next week, and will be getting a 180 trial of vista,
so I figure I’ll wait until RC2 blows up, then I’ll load
the 180 day trial, and see what everything looks like after that,
I have 3 upgrade coupons for vista, so I’m set,

How did you get Vista for free?!?!
Personally, I'm going to wait AT LEAST a year before I move onto vista. I'm sure a year still won't be a sufficient amount of time to clear up the bugs however.
I'm quite content with XP thank you

I've been running Vista Business on my computer for about a week now.
specs: dual core 6600 @ 3.6 giggle hurts
2GB ram
Sata II hard drive 16mb cache (main drive)
7800GT PCI-E
Everything seems to be working great and have it running on my home Windows 2003 domain. All my admin tools work properly.
Aero glass interface is not to bad but you stop noticing it after a while.
Oh and running the 32 bit version not 64.
taking up over 1.2GB of ram while XP PRO SP2 took about 550 mb running the exact same applications. |

it is huge..
I wouldn't recommend anyone run Vista without having at least 2GB's of ram in their system.
If you do anything like Photoshop or CAD (or even heavy gaming) then get 4 GB's of ram.
