IE error message

I keep getting the error message "IE had encountered an error and needs to close.We are sorry for this inconveinecne" Seems to happen most when I try to down load a utlility Any advise? thanks

Can you get more information about the error rather than just that IE will close ?

You may want to take a look in the Event Viewer to try to find more information, clean your cookies and temp files, maybe clean the Prefetch folder also and scan the computer with Ad Aware and Spybot
