I wouldnt expect anything in q1 08. expect it for end of year and applaud if its earlier. Their main focus is on Vista and Vista awareness. |

I wonder if it will be available like SP2 was on cd ... that was pretty neat to have as a back up if you needed to format.. instead of downloading it..
(also it was free !) |

(also it was free !) | It was free..?? I had to pay to get mine, albeit only £6 (inc P&P)...
I found that it was really handy to use when rebuilding computers, so that it was less easy for hackers or viruses/virii to make their way in... Could install it before hooking it up to the internit.......

(also it was free !) | All I do is download the SP and slipstream it into my OS cd. That way you don't need to order a cd and re-installing is a cinch.

At first they were giving the SP2 disk away for free, but after a few months/weeks they stopped doing that.
Oh, and SP3 is RC now on MSDN. |
