how do i bypass login?

I just reworked my wife's computer. It has win 2000 on it and for some reason it now requires an extra step to finish booting up. it used to boot fully to the desktop without any operator intervention. Now, before it will complete the boot process, it stops at a dialog box with the name Administrator filled in and asking for a password. I click ok without entering a password (or hit enter) and it completes the boot process. How can I get rid of that pause and having to click or hit enter?

FYI its generally really bad from a security standpoint (remote threats) to have a passwordless computer.
