Wanting to play a wav file from Windows CMD
I want to be able to play a sound file from a batch file within Windows Vista. Using wmplayer.exe I can not get the player to be invisible or even close after playing. All I want to do is call upon a batch file that will then play a sound in Windows without any disruption to the user.
Anybody know of a native way to pull this off in XP or Vista?

That's a tough one because I don't know any DOS commands that can close a window. Also, I'm pretty sure wmplayer does not have an invisible mode. The only advice I have is to search for a program that can be invisible natively (or maybe just minimized) and then execute that from the command line.

That's hilarious GZ! Nothing like a little controversy to get people stirred-up. This will be fun to watch :)
