Can anyone tell me how to change the name of xp on my vista boot mgr list?

two programs seen for Vista-XP. one is VistabootPro seen at http://www.vistamania.org/index.php?...tpage&Itemid=1 this will rename previous version of Windows to Windows XP. you can change boot order to have XP default. it also is suppsed to be able to add other Windows as well.

Can someone tell me if when you install Vista is the same things has windows with a product key. Someone is trying to sell me Vista but he said it dont come with a product key i just want to make sure first before buying because i dont want to loose my money.

Please let me know ASAP

Vista boot pro sucks. It nuked my pc when I tried using it.

Also, Vista requires a legal product key to be used. If someone was trying to sell me an illegal copy I would report that person to Microsoft.

how can i report that person i seen them selling it on some website i be goin on but i dont know them. So you are telling me that XP is better than Vista?

No, I am not saying XP is better than Vista. Both are great, but for the most part Vista is far better (the main thing Vista is currently lacking is a lot of 3rd party driver support, so gaming isn't the greatest yet).

I made the leap a couple of days ago to Vista and have to say as sceptical as I was I love it.

Every game I have runs fine, although I had to reinstall directx. I did have to reinstall a few other programs before they would work.

Ive only got one application (a motherboard utility) that wont run at the moment.

I have my system on dual boot Vista on C: Drive and XP on E: Drive.
Vistaboot worked ok for me. http://vistabootpro.org/

don't try adding any other version of Window with it. like I warned before it can rename the Vista or previous version of Windows to Windows XP since Vista has already added boot.ini to boot loader. once you startup and choose XP the next screen will be the XP boot screen.

NO DONT BUY IT! someone is trying to rip you off. if you wantt vista go on microsoft's site and search, or go to a store around you and ask for vista with a unused legit product key.
