Windows install problem.

I'm attempting to install windows on a old Hp Pavilion 7845. I have it installed and everything, when I go to log in I get this error.

I don't understand. It's a fresh install i did today. This system has had xp on it before hand. Should i format and start over again? I know the password, i set it earlier.

Is there an option to choose the machine name and not the domain?

I would have formatted from the git-go, you may wanna just start over and to the same. If you don't have a domain, don't tell it that it belongs in one.

There is no option for the domain. I did reformat before I started this escapade this morning. Started the install, then left for some lunch. I got back and had to enter the serial, I did this and left for a bit again. Now I came back to the log in screen. I never entered a password for the account, but yet it won't let me access without an account. So i'm going to start over I guess. Thanks for your help

THere is no button on the login window that says "options"?? The actual options may be hidden by default until you hit the botton, then you'll get a drop down list that allows you to pick the local machine.
