PowerPoint fonts/powerpoint to flash

I have a powerpoint presentation that I have been working on through out the years and I tried to open the file for the first time in a LONG time.. When I try to open it it says

"This presentation cannot be edited because it contains a read-only embedded font"

How do I make it to where it isn't read only.. I went to the properties and it is ready to edit there... I have a font in that is preventing me from editing it.

Also if anyone knows how I can convert powerpoint to a flash file that would be great... Of course I would prefer a free program.... LOL

Thanks

kelmaz... the error you're getting indicates that you don't have the font used installed on your system. if you know what font was used in the presentation, you should just be able to re-install it. note that if you have not tried opening the presentation from within an administrator account, it would be good to do so.

are you using powerpoint 2003 or what version? i know in some versions, you can go up to Format and choose Replace fonts. then you should be able to open it and edit it.
