I can't imagine it would not be able to.
Also, just checking, but you do know you need to buy Apple hardware for that OS, right? The Mac OS will not work on just any PC hardware."The problem with quotations on the internet is that the sources are hard to verify" - Abraham Lincoln

**Resisting the urge to post anti-Mac propaganda**
The OSx86 project will not work with certain pieces of hardware. The major thing is that you have to have a supported chipset on your motherboard. Plus, all of your hardware drivers have to be compatible with the OS, which usually isn't much of a problem, but I've seen a lot of incompatability issues with people who decided to upgrade their macs without knowing what they were doing. Do yourself a favor and make sure that all your hardware is compatible before buying it.Last edited by him61; July 30th, 2007 at 08:37 PM.

Macosx natively supports zip files, for rar you will need to get the application unrarx.
Tomcruise if the file has an .html extension Safari shouldn't have any problems opening the file. (even if you aren't on the internet web browsers are designed to read html)
Macosx also supports pdf files

html is NOT OS dependent..it IS browser dependent. Any browser you get that installs on the MAC should read htm, html, php, asp, xhtml, xml etc.
The question almost equates to "If I buy a Japanese car, will it run on American gas?"
