| *Nvidia Beta Drivers 169.21 Released* Quote: Along with NVIDIA's new 8800 GTS 512 MB release NVIDIA also unveils a new ForceWare driver, revision build 169.21. - Added support for GeForce 8800 GTS 512 GPU.
- Recommended driver for the latest DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL applications.
- Numerous game and application compatibility fixes. Please refer to the release documentation for more information on features, driver fixes, and known issues.
| Quote: They helped me out a bunch. At least 5 FPS more across the board on games. The biggest bump was in Crysis, gave me about 10FPS more then the previous beta drivers.
Plus my card is at 490/1275 now, before the max was 480/1250.
You should try them out... EDIT:
Nvidia released more drivers today for Vista 32bit and 64bit. Still beta drivers though, just to remind you. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_169.25.html http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_169.25.html
Enjoy!

Well if the drivers over clocked your card that would explain the gains you got. I will have to give them a shot. |

I should have made that more clear, my bad.
I overclock my card in Rivatuner. What I was trying to say before that the max I could go without artifacts in 3D mark or Aquamark before were 480/1250. But when I change drivers, that number changes. IDK why per say, it's just when I upgrade drivers, I always adjust my overclock with the change. The new drivers my max number now is 490/1275.
Did that clear things up?
EDIT:
BTW, my stock clocks are 425/1050..

Awesome. Downloading now.
EDIT--
Just tested them out and yeah... I can't notice a difference with my own eyes and I never really took precise FPS measurements, so... Good, but nothing life changing here in my opinion.
