i have a problem with windows XP SP2(pirated) installed in my computer. recently a problem occured while running DOS from my windows.
when i try to execute the cmd.exe commond the DOS window seems to appear for a milisecond.
when the system booted and i excuted cmd.exe first time then i got an error that may help you to pic up the problem, however the error has not been thrown once after.

error in running C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe. you may have not a permission to run the application

recently i dont have a windows xp cd. and the problem seems not to be solved without upgrading the windows so that missing files would be regained.
is there any way to do this via internet?

Try running Adaware and Spybot Search & Destroy. If you don't have one already, AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition is a good anti virus program to use.
