Outlook Rules mark Email as Read?

I'd like to set up a rule for emails to be sent to a particular folder AND marked as READ once they are there. Can someone explain how this might be done?

Guessing you know you can right click on the folder to highlight it then click select Mark All Read.

this tutorial should help. Just set the initial rules then you'll be able to set the actions to move and mark read. I used the move message from someone to folder template.
