    Braindead today, simple windows98 question

Some installs of w98 don't have the logoff option under start menu. Do you need to add a user to get that ? I thought there was an easy way but brain is failing today. TIA

Not answering your question exactly, but adding "Client for Micro$$ Network" as a network protocol will do it. But don't bind that protocol to any other network protocol unless you have to.

Dont think that would do it. My 98 machine I'm on now has client installed and I log on to a domain. No joy.

My main reason for this is so I can log on to the domain as Administrator when I need to do admin stuff. You'd think if I'm doing Admin. tasks I could handle this.
