| Best disk partition software?
I'm looking for some disk partition software. I've heard of gparted, is that any good? Are partition managers able to run within the operating system or are they bootable? If I only have one operating system can I get rid of it with disk partition software? |

I have heard of gparted as well in this site. Looks pretty decent.
I always use the Disk Management utility in Windows. For reference to searchers. http://www.bootdisk.com/

Gparted (Gnome Parted) is the best free (open source) partitioning software available. It is easy to use, while maintaining good features and performance. Most Linux distros, such as Ubuntu, come with it. Gparted is bootable. And, you can delete your old OS if you need to using GParted.
