| Windows Live Messenger win2003 can not login
Recently and out of the sudden this problem happened, I can not login to Windows Live Messenger on the laptop (win2003).
I uninstalled Windows Live Messenger and reinstall it again same problem.
I uninstalled Windows Live Messenger, and install V7.5 same problem.

| Friend of mine used the laptop day before the problem occured, I do not have firewall installed yet, and I asked him if he had done something, his answer was : No

Have you tried creating a new/different account and loggin in?
Do you have another computer that you can use to try and log on with? http://get.live.com/mail/options

I'm not very familiar with Win 2003....Guessing that there is a Control Panel->Firewall
Might try turning it on and makeing sure Messenger is on the Exceptions list...If not - add it.. |

And when you turn it on and make sure Messenger is on the exception list - can you log in? |

I used some registry cleaners and that fixed the problem. |
