I just upgraded from Windows Vista Home Edition to Vista Ultimate and ever since I upgraded, I'm having a hard time logging on to (2) of the normal websites that I visited regularly........ www.sirius.com and www.phillies.com. The website will actually come up and then my browser (Firefox Mozilla) will all of a sudden turn "white" and say "Not Responding". I tried IE and then same result happened.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong? |

Well ,this didn't help another person having WIFI trouble, but it may help you here. Reset the Winsock and protocol stack.
If that fails. Go to Start | Run | (Type) CMD (enter) | ipconfig/flushdns (Enter)
Make sure all cookies and cache are cleared. Make sure you have the latest flash version. Check you firewall settings too.
Also, in the Network Connections check your network adapter's properties and disable ipv6.

Try disableing ADD-ONS one at a time, via IE Tools->Manage Ad-Ons and see if that helps.

OK but now I can't seem to find SP1 listed under the "Microsoft Windows" heading. Would it say "SP1" or something else? |
