Word 2007

I have a client running Windows Xp Pro sp2 and running Office 2007 Professional. Everything else seems to work fine, outlook/excel/pub/ but when you open Word and start typing, the words don't even show up it just comes up with a windows that states that Word has encountered a problem and must close.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still same issue. I made sure all updates are applied.

I cant' seem to figure it out and anything online doesn't help. I'm running Office 2007 on Vista Prem. and haven't had any issues such as this.

please help.

The universal Word fix-it is to delete any instances of normal.dot. Did you already try that?

Now you know what to try first.

Anyway, nothing like a fresh OS!
