Windows Vista Service Pack 1

I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem. I have Windows Vista Ultimate Edition on my Dell Vostro desktop. When Vista SP1 came out in the past, I installed it (like I would any "normal" update) but the OS started acting "squirrelly" and I just used system restore to get rid of the problem.

My problem is this.......now my computer keeps telling me that there's new updates to install, namely Vista SP1 and I'm not sure if I should do it. Any opinions or anyone else have any problems with SP1?

You can always use System Restore. Try again.

Before you do, scan for bugs. That's viruses and spyware.

if you decide to update than you should get the latest drivers
for chipset and video drivers and install them after the update

Could you define "squirelly" LOL (Funny you use that...it was a family "nickname" for us kids growing up when one of us had too much to drink...yes "kids"...it WAS the 70's) ROFL
