Outlaw - To avoid a high level of disappointment, depression and or anxiety DO NOT Read the details when they come out.
That way, if Microsoft makes a decision to drop a feature or two from THEIR software you’ll never know… |

Surely, that's the point of keeping quiet for as long as possible. |

I see.
Well, it will be interesting to see what they come out with. The only thing I've heard about is that touch screen stuff. But that's not really very useful to many people... |

We have a list of bug fixes - modifications - enhancements and new reports we're hoping to get info 7.5 and have it ready to ship by December 1st.
When talking with existing clients, I often will say: "Yes, the feature should be included in the next release...but we really won't know for sure till mid October."
You can plan and project till to sun goes down (make educated guesses), but untill you actually get into writting the code you never know for sure how long something is going to take... |

Yeah who knows what kind of tricks M$ has up their sleeve. I like the idea of using a "basic kernel" from vista, leaves the imagination open for a solid stable OS with hopefully significantly less bloatware then Vista....IMO
I personally am still hoping for some sort file system change to something like WinFS.
