Need Toshiba Satellite help - Tech Support Forums

i am working on this toshiba Satellite p25-s507. i installed windows xp sp2, but none of the usb ports work. i cannot seem to find a driver for the usb controller. in device manager, it shows it as with a problem. since it doesn't have network either, i cannot use the auto update driver thing.

please help, thanks

If this machine came with Vista, there's a chance there aren't XP drivers. Toshiba's web site would be the only place that will have the drivers if there any.

I was ready to give sat tv help try to make sure you properly title your thread, as Steve said if it came with Vista then chances are XP drivers might be hard to come by,google might be your best friend. Find the make/manuf of the board if you can and you might be able to find generic drivers for it (assuming ttoshiba doesn't have them)

my problem is with the hard drive says C:\format. after 14 hours no change in % complete.
What can i do to get this machine to work? i really need this to work.
