Windows Live Messenger. Help Please!

Well, on my windows live messenger someone invited me to view their webcam. I accepted and my messenger froze. This problem persisted and then i detected i could not send voice clips or even get into audio/video settings. I fixed it once, but once I closed the messenger I could not recreate this fix. What is wrong here?

I have also experienced this problem. After trying so many things but the problem persist. I download the latest version of windows live messenger, it resolves the problem.
