Last night I had a problem. Computer just wouldn't do anything. I brought up task manager and it showed that Firefox was using 99% of my CPU. I had nothing else running. I tried to exit Firefox and took over an hour for it to finally close.
I'm a newbie to FireFox. Is there any reason this happened and is there any reason this could happen again? Otherwise I do like Firefox vs. IE. My version of Firefox is 3.0.3 I am running this on an older system with Win 2k and 1 gig memory.
Thanks

Was firefox just sitting there open to a blank page or were you on a specific site? It could be there was a buggy script or something on the site you were on causing FF to have issues.

Hmm that's odd, has it happened since or is it just a one time deal? It could be a buggy plug-in or add-on. |

Something that does happen fairly often is I get a script error and best I can tell it is related to Gmail. |

Since its only happened once it'll be fairly hard to diagnose, I really wouldn't worry about it unless it happens again. |
