Top of the game well application

Just wondering what programs u guys think are at the top of there game.

Gom: used to be there before it's big fall.
VLC: might still be the best but has fallen alot.
bitdefender: there was a time it was king of the hill.
Kaspersky: probably still up there, but has come down some.
Malwarebytes: not AVS but malware, without a doubt it's on top of it's game
firefox: still the best pick, it sure has fallen alot!!
PeerGuardian 2: there even a fight here? Great program.
EVEREST: Far as I know, on top of it's game.
adware: It was the first so it was, but not since they added to services
Hexplorer: Not sure if it's on top, but has become my fav

Well, if ur on top of ur game ur at ur peek. Your the best, look down on all the others taking a second to enjoy it because someone else will be standing there next week.

What programs u think are the best at what they do? Sry guess I wasn't clear enough before well, hell not sure.

How has VLC fallen? Have you even played with the new version that came out yesterday? And nothing compares to it period, you dont have to load a million codecs or anything, you download on file and you can play about 99.999999% of the videos out there

There isn't one right now, and it's true it's pretty much back on top. There has been a number of problems with it from vulnerabilities to trying to get some WMP or WMV I can't recall all these lame winblows media file types so I'm sure u get the idea. There has been in my opinion at least 4 months were Gom was a far better movie player. Do to some issues with Gom I can't say that any longer.

Anyways, what are some of ur all time great programs?
