I did do a download at the office and burned it to a DVD. Now, at least, I have a backup install disk. Thanks, EXreaction.

I got a new one, somebody I know got the email deal from Microsoft Win7 home premium for $49 so he ordered 3 of them, seems somebody can't count, they sent him a box of 10
so he got 10 home premium upgrade disks and gave me 2 of them

I got Win7 Home OEM, but I'm afraid to install it. I'm kind of waiting to read about other peoples experiences. I'm not sure what kind of changes or upgrades one can do before MS rules that you have a new computer and thus need to get a new copy of Win7.
That, and I need a free chunk of time....

| Any computer that runs Vista can run 7. 7 should be able to use the Vista drivers too unless they changed that from the beta.

update; got busted by MS
some how they figured out they sent 10 copy's instead of 3 and called him they said they would charge his credit card if he didn't send the rest back, so he's having them check if he can buy the other 7 copy's for the $49 he payed for the 3,
I had not activated the copy he gave me and I only had opened 1 so he still has 7 copy's unopened to send back,
so the other day I decided it would be smarter on my part to just join Technet,
so thats what I did,
now I have all the OS's and server OS's and all the other fun stuff that comes with it, I have 3 computers in the house to upgrade to 7 so it only made sense to just join technet, plus it will help me with my study stuff, |
