Hi all
I have a dual boot Vista 64bit and Win7 64bit.
Used the windows easy transfer to transfer settings and such like from Vista to 7.
It installed a few programs aswell, but those programs are not in the add/remove in control panel.
How do i get rid of them if no add/remove, and also they do not have their own uninstall.

Correct me if I'm wrong - but neither Vista or Win 7 have a add/remove in control panel.
What excatly are you wanting to remove/uninstall and on which OS?

Windows easy transfer usually only transfers over personal files and settings and such. Can you give up a few examples of what you're wanting to uninstall? |

Programs are...
Core Temp
Mem Set
CPU-Z
GPU-Z
Orthos
HWMonitor
Program shortcuts are on desktop. Programs are in user/downloads and user/documents but all work from clicking the shortcut.
Cant work out if these programs are actually installed or not. |

AND if they don't show up in the Programs and Features list - it would be reasonable to assume it's safe to zap them. |

I'd change the name of the containing folder as a temporary measure - better to do that and find that there are no longer required (and then delete them) than to get rid and the discover some sort of issue/s......
Obviously, at the end of the day it is down to you, and in theory there shouldn't be any issue about wiping them, but...............................
Just had a look, and I know that CPU-Z isn't actually an installed application, just an EXE that will check the CPU details and display them for you...
