| Windows 7 Show Desktop Mod
I did this trick here How to Get the Good Old “Show Desktop” Feature Back in Windows 7? - Tweaking with Vishal
I got the show desktop icon way on the right side of my task bar and I enlarged it, but when I try and drag and drop it to my left side of the task bar I get the library folder there instead of my icon?
Any Ideas?
Also is there a way to get my internet windows to go horizontally like in vista/xp and not all in one icon? I mean theres obviously space in the taskbar for it, why have it all under my firefox icon?

Not sure on the first one, didn't read that page.
For the second I assume you mean you want all programs to show separate buttons across the taskbar like they did back in the vista/xp days. That's easy enough from taskbar/startmenu properties changes the taskbar buttons to never combine

I think the little rectangle button on the end of the task bar works fine, I'm not sure why anyone would want the old style, it took up more space. Granted, I did not know it was there the first two days.
Also, you can use the Win Key + M to minimize all windows, often faster than moving the mouse to the icon and clicking.
It's to the right of the clock on the task bar. Looks like a do nothing piece of trim, but it does what you want.

Looks like some of the shortcuts changed:
Win+H - Move current window to full screen
Win+I - Restore current full screen window to normal size or minimize it if not full screen
Win+Shift+arrow - Move current window to alternate screen
Win+D - Minimize all windows and show the desktop
Win+E - Launch Explorer with Computer as the focus
Win+F - Launch a search window
Win+G - Cycle through gadgets
Win+L - Lock the desktop
Win+M - Minimize the current window
Win+R - Open the Run window
Win+T - Cycle through task bar opening Aero Peek for each running item
Win+U - Open the Ease of Use center
Win+Space - Aero Peek the desktop
Ctrl+Win+Tab - Open persistent task selection window, roll mouse over each icon to preview item
So now you need to use Win+D to minimize all windows. |

You can right click the task bar, and there is a menu option there to show desktop.
There needs to be a window open for this to work, for if you are already on the desktop the menu option will not be there.
