Here I go again, what is it they say? ( A friend in need is a pest )

I have just finished loading on a programme called WinonCD 3.7. After I rebooted, all the icons and text on the desktop and all other programmes are greatly oversized, so large in fact that I can not get to the area in the display section, to reduce the size does any one know of a way to get round this. Thanks in advance. BUMTY

Up you resolution to try and see all of the area on display section,make changes ,then put resolution back

minimize all windows and right click on the desktop > properties > settings > move the slider on screen area (bottom right)

sounds like winoncd made a mess somewhere

sorry, what I mean is just get to your desktop so you can right click on some empty space

Jester i have tried that but the page is so large all i can see is about the top 1/4 of the page i can not get to the bottom of the page to where the slider is.

Any other idea's would be apreciated. BUMTY

Just boot to safe mode by pressing F8 when the PC starts up. Choose safe mode and when the desktop appears, right-click on the desktop, choose properties-and adjust the fonts either from settings or appearance.

shahani's on the money - safemode should help - otherwise try dragging the display properties byt he blue bar on top upwards - lo-tech but worked for me once
