Issue with WinRAR extract
I extracted a 2.5 GB file into a new folder. During the extract, WinRAR threw a lot of error messages that files cannot be opened. However, the extract process continued for 5 minutes and then completed. When I open the destination folder, it is empty!! What did winRAR do for 5 minutes? I am concerned that it would have taken a lot of space on my hard drive which I cannot even use or see. Please let me know where winRAR would have dumped the data for 5 minutes, so that I can get there and delete the data before trying to extract again. Thank you!
