Mine is 98se

98se is just about the BEST WIN OS to ever be released!
When you realise how intrusive the newer OS's are and how privacy is becoming VERY HARD TO COME BY,you realise how vital 98se is online today!!
I truly believe using OLDER SOFTWARE/OS from before the intrusive phase started (Win2000 SP4) is a major step towards keeping yourself PRIVATE!! (You can trust the SW and OS you are using ARE NOT SPYING ON YOU!!)
Keeping private and secure is something everyone should want and be aware of,after all: ITS YOUR COMPUTER,no one should see anything your doing

You read too much NSA BS. I use XP Pro on the laptop and all the desktops. I use XPe in the thin client. and run Windows 7 in VMware. XP to me is a great OS especially when you know how to lock it down, run the right antivirus software and firewall. Would you believe that I have been running XP for more than seven years without a single hotfix from MS?
Haven't got a virus in that time frame at all! I think hotfixes are BS.
98se is highly unstable. Plus there are flaws. Then some software may not even work in 98.
BTW- I could have swore you asked this question before.

If security is the main concern, I'll boot into Ubuntu and connect through tor.
I think W7 is my favorite, even though none of my machines have it yet. I'm still stuck on XP and Vista.Good job, friend-of-friends!

Android.
Now if you said desktop OS...uhmmm Ubuntu 8.04 was the most enjoyable to me. Using 11.04 now but it's just that *little* bit less enjoyable than 8.04 were back then.
I never enjoyed Windows 95/98. 2000 Pro was O.K. , as was XP, and 7 is not bad at all but Windows always manages to have one to many things that P's me off completely.
OS X seems very attractive but I never quite get used to the essential keyboard shortcuts being different from almost ANY other OS out there...maybe if I used it more, but I think I'll chew off my wrists before I get used to it.
So thats my 2c worth
