I have been searching non-stop but have found nothing to help so please can anyone offer a solution.
What I want to do is extract a url from an internet shortcut, I have used a program called Belkasoft IE Favorties Extractor but that gives me the names along with the site address. Does anyone know of a program that would just give me the address as I am trying to find a better way of storing favorites seeing as I have several thousand of them.
Thanks for the help, (pretty sure I'm not the only one with thousands of links)

What OS are you running?
I'm using Windows 7, I just looked at my Favorites Folder for Internet Explorer (I mainly use Firefox or Chrome), but I have nearly 750 Favorites added to that folder alone, and it only consumes less then 3MB total in files.
How much space are you trying to save?
Favorites/Bookmark files really don't take that much room.
Depending on your browser, can't you just export them to a text file, or HTML file
I just exported all 700+ bookmarks in IE to an HTML file and its only 160K in size. Double click the file and it has all the bookmarks with hotlink names listed.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green
