Windows Metro Style Apps Developer Downloads

MS is giving you the chance to try out windows 8 for free. This is a PRE-BETA, so don't install this on your main rig. There are still many known bugs.
BUT, if your a dev, they even included the SDK for Metro UI (new explorer) so you can start building apps for the MS app store.

Here's a pretty good video that covers lots of the functionality that's available in this build.

Looks slick. Hopefully MS will get this right. Their previous "tablet" PCs have been lackluster at best.

Anyone have any luck VM'ing this? Will try it out asap.

It works for me in virtual box, but I can tell there is a performance hit. Think I'm going to install on a older HDD I have here and see how well it does.
