    Welcome to TechIMO!
I'd have to look, but I'm sure you can find it.

Only service pack 3 will work with Windows update, as of about 6month ago.

You have to down load the first 4 service pack manually, and install them manually to get back in business.

    Yes I said 4, because there is a 1a, as I recall.

I down loaded them, from MS and burned them to disk, so I don't have to look for it anymore.

Just google it, or go to MS and search, I know it only took me a few minutes to find it

If you can't find it post back, and I'll look when I have a minute

I checked my down load, and apparently it is 1a, 2, and 3.

    1 Must be the original.

I'm with Stroyal, that's the best way to keep your service packs up to date. Don't try to order a CD or anything online, I've heard there are scams like that! The best way - the fastest and often the most efficient - is through manually downloading them via the website.

Did you know some people have trouble using the Automatic Updater? So for sure become familiar with using the site for all failed updates not just service packs. It won't be the first time something won't download or install (or partially install for that matter). However, the problem is very common with service packs.

There are 3rd party modified service packs (the service pack but with other updates tagged on) but I'd just use the MS site if I were you.
