Well XP Pro for me. I have tried every other windows flavor, and this is the best all around OS for me. I have never tried Linux, but I have Red Hat lying about somewhere I am going to put on a machine to see how it goes. The only thing I don't like about it already is the lack of software, drivers, and ect trhat you have with winderz.
Played a little with Mac, but was already into windows, prolly a bias opinion that's my 0.02cents

Oh come on...where's DOS? (or MS or otherwise)
...and OS/2 Warp, regular 'ol UNIX, Windows NT, Solaris, OS/400.
Ah, I'm giving ya a hard time. I wouldn't pick any of those anyways...although I do kinda miss old DOS.
But my choice would be Win2000. I don't know if Win2000 and XP should really be in the same catagory for your poll however. |

Do we really need another "favorite OS" poll? |

I still have to give the edge to Win98SE for person use. I find myself using WinXP more and more, and while it's basically trouble free like Win98, I don't just don't care for the new user interface, especially the fancy visuals. |

you can always turn them off, but then it looks just like 2k, which leads you to think "why the hell did I pay 300 bucks for this?" |
