No Mouse Or Keyboard at Login on Windows XP
This happened after I did a system restore.
When it boots it goes to login screen and mouse cursor is frozen.
USB keyboard and mouse don't work.
Never had this happen before in my life.
What to do now?

Welcome to TechIMO!
Which system restore?
The one that is part of Windows, or a system restore that is supplies by the computer manufacturer?
Is this a store bought, or a home build.
We need to know a little about it.
What dose it show in Device Manager?Hard Sayin Not Knowin

I've almost never had system restore work. once, after a bad video driver install, but 50 times no.
System restore is vulnerable to any virus, or malware that is on your computer.
Why were you restoring?
A repair install, is probably your best bet, but I wouldn't fool around with anything unless you have all your important stuff, backed up.
If you don't already have backup, it must not be important.
If by chance, you forgot to backup important stuff, down load a Linux live CD, and run it from CD, and backup your stuff.Hard Sayin Not Knowin

since you are curious...
I installed a program to convert wma to mp3 and it had a list of option during install. I unchecked them all but it still put a whitesmoke BHO on my browsers that I am still trying to get rid of.

I hate that, why do they ask.

Lately Adobe Reader doesn't even ask, to install McAfee, it just dose it.
If you know your way around the Repair Console, that is the best way.
I would have trouble myself, let alone explaining it to someone else.

Download Hijackthis, run it and post the log file. This might be able to clear up that browser helper.
