    Thunderbird Gmail on multiple computers

     
    I have Thunderbirdbird on my main desktop for gmail. If I install Thunderbird on a laptop will I be able to sync the two email clients?

    As with any email account - you should be able to "leave mail on server" and receive the same mail on all machines... If you want Sent mail on another machine you need to BCC yourself.

    Yeah basically with any web-mail based account and any email program like thunderbird or outlook its the same there are some add-ons but they basically all do the same thing.

    on my POP accounts I can check that option.

    On my IMAP accounts under synchronization and storage I have "keep messages for this account on this computer" deselected

    Under Disk Space I have "synchronize the most recent 1 days" selected

    Is that right for the IMAP settings?
