Anyone ordered a Windows 7 SP 1 disc?????
After reading ALL the horror stories of installing SP 1 from a download, I ordered the disc from Microsoft as I had done form XP Pro.
Has anyone succeeded with this install and had any problems???http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE9TN...eature=related

I haven't used the disk itself no but I've had no issues at all with the download and install
I've installed it several times on a few different machines and all went well in all cases.

That looks like the basic KB articles. Almost every service pack out there has one. Occasionally users will run into various issues with updates on some things. Usually its localized to specific hardware or software not wanting to work right.
I really don't think there is anything that would be any different from using the download over the disk unless perhaps you get a corrupted download or something along those lines.

Thanks for the replies. Will be getting the disc,I imagine, this week. I remember having SO MUCH trouble with Win 98 ( 98 Second was more user friendly )and having to re-install after updates.

No Problemo with XP Pro, though...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iE9TN...eature=related
