I do not know how to adjust video memory

Have XP pro 32 bit on high speed and am clear of known malware, viruses, spyware and what not. I Want to try Curvy3D

these are the flags I get up

I have read the reply. I have no known malware, spyware, viruses, trojans, or web site redirectors, I learned more about Malware protection than I did about using computer for personal use

Cleanliness Confirmed by multiple third party programs and by MSE

BUt being you are so cool and responding I will give you the Rundown of the Flags.in order.

Not enough video memory. Switching to reference rasterizer a software device that implements the entire Direct3D feature set but runs very slowly.
    OK button
    D3D9
Warning Nothing will be rendered. The reference rendering device was selected but yu computer only has a reduced functionality reference device installed. Install Direct X SDK to get the full reference device
(Have not done that) as is mostly GREEK to me
    press OK button

    D3D9
Generic application error. Enable debug output for detailed information. This sample will now exit.

    The sales page

Curvy MFC Application Encountered a problem
    Tell MS

    ( I sent out a report)

so next to slitting my wrists, can I do something here. I am administrator
If the program does not work, I want the program to tell me that.
Being slow is irrelevant factor seeing as I had to wait on 28k telephone modems in the past, I am kind of use to that.

I hope you are not waiting for a response from MS.
That report is ONLY for MS.

The only ones, that can be sure there is no viruses, or malwaye, are people with a blank hard drive.
I suppose, seconds after a clean install, if you have genuine MS disk, you can be sure.

The virus/malware scanners, have been a disaster, and you can never be sure.

If you are very careful and have good habits, on the Internet, or are not connected at all, you can be more sure, than from a scan, as people who wright viruses, design them to hide from scans, and security programs, have to constantly catch up.

That being said, I doubt a virus, or malware is preventing you from installing, a program.
It is probably hardware, as GZ is suggesting.

    Edit
I'm pretty sure, my Linux laptop, is virus free, and I have no scanners, of any kind.

probably just missing some updates, or additional stuff for windows/DirectX.

but as 2 others have said, complete hardware specs would be nice to post to make sure you meet them to run the software.

Just need more info like what Groundzero asked. I'm thinking the video card is being used doesn't support the program, or it's needing a DX9 driver of some sort.
