Software For Scanning photos .....
Suggestions on the best software to scan and render photos ?

Might sound simple and stupid but for scanning I usually use the software that came with the scanner or whatever program I intend on using to edit the photos. If I plan on using Light room or PS or Infranview I'll scan directly to those. No need to create extra steps!

Yes, It does make sense to use the software with my printer/scanner. I havn't used my scanner for photos.
